Okay, my question is: what’s it like to sleep on the park? Nah, I’m joking. I wanna know how you come up with the names for your characters. Do you take inspiration from people you know or you just close your eyes and wherever the fingers points on a baby names book goes? That’s all I wanna know…for now. LOL FYI, I think your accent is cute. ♥
Happy Halloween, Livie! xo

Do you always stare at girl’s chests trying to figure out what their chest tattoos say? lmao. -sarah whom you met in vegas the way mentioned above. :p

My seriousbusiness question is….
The dog scratching at the door, how many treats did it get today?
Elizabeth says
Olivia.
Your first book was outrageously good. I have read it several times because I genuinely loved the characters. Anders was an asshat but so tragically flawed that you just wanted to heal him. Josie was the perfect complement. Strong, funny, loyal smart and honest. A great best friend. So many authors write whiny, arrogant, ridiculous women with no redeeming characteristics. How do you write an intimate love scene without it being soooo over the top that it’s not a love scene anymore it’s just sex? You nailed it. Is Josie “you” ? Or a combination of you and your besty? Was Anders modeled after someone? Yea I know that’s more then one question. But you rambled in your video so sue me…BTW the Dawgs lost today so I’m not thrilled. No “dirty dawg”Martinis
Thanks, Elizabeth

I adore your writings, and I was curious if you’ve ever taken any creative writing courses to develop your talent? If so, where did you attend? And lastly, if you could be an inspiration to someone, what would you hope to inspire that person from?
Happy Halloween!!! <3 ya

I love the cover for Brooklyn & Beale! There’s just something about the colors, the tats, and the hair luring me in. It’s the kind of cover that would cause me to pick up the book and read it without knowing anything about it.
Question: What is your process for deciding on a book cover?
Nat says
Omg you’re too adorable, I can’t even handle it lmfao. My question is; what was the inspiration behind Brooklyn & Beale? Did rue plot bunny for Reid and Chloe’s story come before, during or after you Hollywood & Vine? LOVE YA XO

I was wondering how exactly you you came up with the starburst vodka as well as how your editor figured the recipe out? Lots of trial and errors or just simple luck?
Any other cool drinks to share?
Also, I do hope those leaves came out easier than in the video!!
Happy Halloween Livie!

Please excuse my terrible memory. Did we see the main characters of Brooklyn & Beale in Hollywood & Vine?
Olivia Evans says
No. These are all new characters! Chloe has a childhood connection to Josie, that’s how they end up in this one.:)
Nikki says
Love this!
I have 2 questions (is that cheating?)
1 – what signing events are you doing next year? I ask because I’d like to come destroy your swag table a la Vegas style (I still feel like an ass about that!)
2 – regarding your writing process – do you outline? How do you start with a new book?
THANKS, can’t wait for Brooklyn & Beale!
